Hello and welcome to the QIECC website. As a proud Torres Strait Islander woman, I also give special mention to the traditional owners of Country, both the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia. Welcome to all and Happy New Year!
2009 promises to be an interesting year for QIECC and the Indigenous community as a whole and I encourage you all to ‘watch this space' for events QIECC plans to host in the coming year.
The QIECC is an Indigenous community voice in public and private education and training across all Queensland education and training institutions. Please download the QIECC Strategic and Operational Plans to gain a thorough understanding of the QIECC business charter.
We also provide a free newsletter, QIECC Community News, which contains education and training information relevant to all community members of Queensland. The QIECC welcomes contributions to our newsletter and to our News and Events pages on this website. Feel free to subscribe to our newsletter on the home page or contact us for any articles or events you wish to publish in the QIECC Community News or on our website.
Thank you all for your support over the years and I look forward to working with you in this New Year!
Regards,
Gina Archer
